Our Team Analysis


On this page we analyze our team process/dynamics using the Drexler-Sibbet TPM (Sibbet, 2011) and TeamSpeak models.

Drexler-Sibbet vs. TeamSpeak
Overall Assessment: These two models could complement each other very well and participants could benefit from the specific steps in Drexler and Sibbet’s (2011) team effectiveness model while experiencing personal and group growth through the TeamSpeak Model.

Team Effectiveness Survey
For this portion of the project, the team created a survey  to individually
rate the effectiveness of the team based on each Stage from the Drexler-Sibbet Team Performance Model and each Indicator from the TeamSpeak Model. The survey allowed for team members to reflect on the insights gained during the team process.  In addition, each team member placed the Stages and the Indicators in rank order of effectiveness.

Team SWOT Analysis
The survey allowed opportunity for written insights which were used to develop the SWOT. All team members agreed that this was a valuable learning experience. We ultimately came together in a heartfelt dialogue during our 7/22 meeting which served to clear the air and reach new levels of understanding about each other. The heaviness in the air was lifted as we sought to understand each other more intimately. The clearing of the air felt like a fresh start and our members experienced genuine joy and appreciation for each other. We are looking forward to celebrating our accomplishment of this project but also celebrating the renewal of our hearts and spirits.
